Bộ phim viễn tưởng có bối cảnh nước Anh ở tương lai, với thủ pháp châm biếm sâu cay và vô cùng bạo lực. Câu chuyện xoay quanh nhân vật trung tâm là thằng nhóc 15 tuổi Alex Delarge, tên tội phạm bẩm sinh với 3 thứ khoái lạc: bạo lực, hiếp dâm và… nhạc Beethoven! Để nhanh được ra tù, Alex đã xung phong tham gia một thí nghiệm mới đặc biệt của chính phủ về cách cải tạo tù nhân, gọi là liệu pháp Ludovico: sử dụng chính những gì là sở thích của tên tội phạm làm công cụ tra tấn hắn.
